Pressured to raise money to buy a new game, indie programmer Natalie joins a week-long game development contest. As she works, events pop in her life forcing her to choose what to prioritize and sacrifice.

“Natalie” was a game jam submission for RPG Maker in November 2016. The “Learning Together” jam encouraged RPG Maker users to share what they have learned. Ultimately, “Natalie” was randomly chosen as one of the lucky winners.
After experiencing the thrill of indie game development, I developed an interest in creating visual novels. I studied Ren’Py—a free visual novel engine—and published the visual novel version of “Natalie” in December 2016.
